ENHANCING ENGINEERING CREATIVITY WITH AUTOMATED FORMULATION OF ELEMENTARY SOLUTION PRINCIPLES

Abstract Several researchers have reported on the effectiveness of knowledge-based inventive stimuli, known in Theory Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ), enhancing engineering creativity, but few authors focused comparative analysis structured ideation design terms quantitative and qualitative outcomes. Previous studies mainly concentrated investigation exemplary selected single stimuli rather than a critical assessment relationship between application their contribution to design. The paper describes method for automated formulation elementary creative product or process at different levels abstraction domains. experimental study evaluates impact idea generation thinking compares it with previous educational industrial settings. outlook highlights benefits using context AI-assisted invention innovation.
